Getting started

Follow these steps to start using your AI agent

Upload your documents

Upload PDF or TXT files containing your business knowledge. The AI will use them to answer questions accurately.

Go to Documents →

Add the agent (choose one)

Script tag: Add the embed code to your website — the chat widget appears on your pages. Bookmarklet: Drag the "AgentGuide" button to your browser's bookmark bar, then click it on any web app to open the chat.

Open your app and start chatting

Navigate to your application (website, POS, CRM, etc.), open the chat, and ask questions. Try "how to create a customer" or "how does X work".

The AI answers questions based on the documents you upload. The more accurate and complete your docs, the better the AI performs.

1 User Guide / Feature Manual

Describe every feature in your app — what it does, how to use it, step-by-step. This is the most important document. Example: "To create a customer: go to Customers → click Add → fill First name, Phone → click Save."

2 Cross-Feature Workflow Guide

Explain workflows that span multiple sections. Example: "Employee not showing in Order? You must: 1. Create employee (active). 2. Add employee to a Position. 3. Employee will appear in Order." These cross-feature connections are critical for accurate AI answers.

3 FAQ / Troubleshooting

List common questions and their answers. Example: "Q: Why can't I see the Refund button? A: The refund window may have expired. Check Store Config → Maximum Refund Period."

Tip: Use plain language. Write how a trainer would explain it to a new employee. Supported formats: PDF, TXT, DOCX, MD.
